Miss USA 2010: Rima Fakih
The Arab-American representative Rima Fakih, candidate of Michigan, beat 50 participants to take the title of Miss USA 2010 on Sunday night. On May 16, 2010 the 59th edition of the Miss USA pageant, was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas a star studded panel of judges chose Rima Fakih of Michigan as MISS USA® 2010. Rima Fakih, a 24 year old brunette from Dearborn born on October 2, 1986. She is most probably the first Muslim to be crowned the Miss USA. Rima Fakih told pageant judges that her family celebrates both the Christian and the Muslim faiths.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration. Lots of Rima Fakih pictures and photos considered to be scandal is floating the World Wide Web and this happens after she won the competition.
Rima takes interest in traveling, running, dancing, and kickboxing and especially likes playing football and watching the NFL. After completing her reign as MISS USA, Rima Fakih plans to attend law school. Rima Fakih is now facing lots of rumors regarding her profession. Most of the people are trending the internet regarding that Rima Fakih is a pole dancer.
Representatives of the 50 states and the District of Columbia competed for the title in the pageant, which was broadcast live on NBC. We congratulate to Rima Fakih for winning Miss USA 2010 as she represents the country in the Miss Universe Pageant this coming months.
